The end of January, this was the month that made a lot of progress on the world clock. While typing this post, I only have 20 blocks left. It's very exciting to watch the board slowly be filled up. I predict that I will be able to have the board fully done by the start of February. The Laser-cutter had its mirrors realigned by Mr. L and cutting the quarter inch wood is more easier, but there are certain planks that don't want to cut at all. Still not sure why that happens. We did tested the power supply with a simple code to see if it will show the letters and it did very well. Jaspreet still has to work on the code a little more as it wasn't working the last time I saw her. When I come back, it will be February so that means Valentine's Day. I planned out a gift and I've thought a lot of ways to increase the look of it by using the new acrylics and mirror Mr. L received.

Also earlier in the week, Mr. Christy asked for some help to organize screws from a big box into two categories. They looked very similar but one was more taller than the other. Bella helped me organize them to speed up the process.

During this week, Mr. L gave me a bigger blue box to store my stuff in. I reorganized my smaller one and cleaned the dust out of the bigger one. I honestly like the upgrade and I'll be able to store my laser-cut projects more easily. When I'm done with the physical part of the Word Clock I can't wait to work on the Valentine's gift and my other project I had with code before I started the Word Clock.

The gift that I plan to give away was a box with a sliding lid, yes another box. I like making boxes as it's a simple gift to give away. On the walls I plan to but out hearts from it then cut hearts into acrylic then glue them in. After I cut out the pieces to assemble I actually want to take it home to lightly paint the wood a darker color. We sadly don't have any wood stain but I think painting over it with a thin paint will work.
