10/14-10/18

This week I started a new project but I do plan on continuing a project that was left by a former student of Robotics with Jaspreet and Bella. The old project in a large word clock and Mr. Christy had informed us what needed to be done for it and that we can ask questions more about it once the three of us finish our own personal projects.

The project I decided to work on is something physical and mainly focuses on CAD. I wanted to make a box that could be opened without requiring hinges. I researched online to see concepts so then I'd know it was possible. This is the source I used to base my design on Fusion.

This link shows an actual template and it gave me ideas of how I would be able to connect the lid to the sides of the box and be able to move up and down. I plan to reuse the cylinders that that cut out and to glue them to the lid. I created a handle with similar designs to my previous project to make it seem more cute.

While being at home I also started to finish up the painting process of the Desk Organizer. I put my figures on it to display and show how I am using it.
