This week I decided to start working on the Giant Word Clock that was left behind by a pervious student with Jaspreet and Bella. The biggest part about this project is the CAD. We first got access to CAD files of the word clock with letters and the letter block. Then, we started to experiment with patterns and see how we can display the light equally in the block. We figured to settle on black acrylic however, we would need to paint each letter.

This was the spray painted acrylic, we decided to spray it in black both sides to see if that would make a change because the black acrylic we used only black on one side.

This was from when we decided to spray paint both sides. We also went to test with a see through wood and also a letter printed with wood. But, we didn't really like the wood veneer that much. It's hard to show colors as the LEDS are not equally vibrant. The red light typically showed more in each color combo we tried and the blue light lacked in basically all of them.
