Monday

I finished up the Eco-league map with Jaspreet and Bella. The three of use finished with each sign and before spraying them with Mod-Podge, we glued them to the board first with regular Elmer's glue. After, we waited for it to fully dry and then sprayed it. The spray preserves the drawings/colors on each of the sign. Last time when we made the sign, we used Mod-Podge but in a liquid form that needed to be brushed on. This way caused a lot of the color to smear and bleed. The spray minimized it but where was only a little bit because when we did spray the signs, we were too close.

Tuesday

I did another quick spray on the signs again. The map was finally done for Eco-league. After finishing that small project, I decided to start another project. I wanted to make a small notebook for my sister to draw in. This would be a part of her Christmas gift because I due plan on giving her something else. I wanted to start early because I wanted to be prepared. I created the model on Fusion360 and was able to start on the ring which is very important to a notebook. I was unsure how I'd be able to connect them in the end. I don't think I'll be adding pages after making it so I want to be able to enclose it. Jaspreet gave me multiple ideas, but I ran out of time before being able to start on it.

Wednesday

I had two tasks, the notebook's rings and an organization chore. I organized the motor drivers by restocking it. I added a new section, TB6612 Dual Motor Drivers. I also restocked theDRV8833 Dual Motor Drivers. I had to use the label maker to label the TB6612. After finishing organizing and labeling, I went back to working on the notebook. I was able to create a design for the rings. After, looping all of the paper I would able to insert the top of the ring. I will use hot glue to permanently attach them together. Before I do, I want to spray paint them silver or a lighter gray to resemble actual notebook rings.

Thursday

I made the files for the notebook and laser cut the files. I used my markers to decorate the cover page. I'm very proud of it and wrote a heartfelt message on the back cover that is personal so I won't be showing it in the picture. I also want to include the card I made for my dad and finished last Friday. I am proud of the two because of how colorful and whimsy it looks.
