11/18-11/22

For this week, I was focusing on laser cutting the letters out, wooden pieces out, clear acrylic out, and the diffusers. Me and my friends calculated how many of each pieces we need to cut out. At the moment we've officially made eight letter blocks. We couldn't connect it onto the board because the shop lacked the screws we needed so then I found them online and sent the link to Mr. Christy to order. We also requested to buy black acrylic instead of just spray painting it as it was just a hassle to deal with. The whole week has been laser cutting over and over again. We got a lot done with what we have. Jaspreet has been working on the code for us and Me and Bella have ben focusing on cutting until she wanted to take a break for a new project. So I've been focusing on laser cutting, a lot of waiting, standing, and smoke. The process to cut was longer than I thought and it would take me one or two class period to make 4 letter blocks. Mr. Christy gave me a big box to hold all of the pieces for the Giant Word Clock. Next week I hope to at least finish 20 letter blocks at the end of next week.
