This week I spent my time dedicated to laser-cutting parts of the wooden pieces, letter acrylics, diffusers, and clear acrylic out. Each process took longer than I thought as every batch could even take up a whole class period. Whenever I finished with a batch I screwed them into the board of the word clock. This clock is now looking more lively, I even cut out the white letter acrylic for me and my friend's names to be visible. With Mr. Christy's help we found the power supply for a good price on Ebay and this power supply should be able to supply power to the world clock without us needing to rely on the shop's power supplies. We initially had problems finding it because I did not look for how many WATTS the clock needed. In the end we found out that the perfect power supply needed to be 5V 45A and 250W. Whenever we get this power supply it means Jaspreet will be able to test her code freely without needing to rely on the LED strip.

I also realized the leftover squares from every wood piece I cut out were out of place and looked messy in the box. I spent a little amount of time reorganizing them.

We had run out of materials to cut out the letters so then, on Thursday and Friday I want to brainstorm gift ideas for my Dad since his birthday will be coming up. I'm not sure what I'll make but I want it to be something that we will enjoy having.
