For this week, I finished the model for the music box's housing. I printed out part 1 as it took the longest, after I printed part 2 out, I realize the space for the handle was too small. This means that I would not be able to rotate the handle which plays the music box. I changed the model to be bigger and after that printed I tested it and it worked. The two prints took a long time added together and during that time I worked on a birthday card for my friend. I worked in Inkscape and also used my prior project to help me, the Valentine's Day card. I made a ton of decorations I cut out and used double sided tape to hold this together. After finishing assembling, I colored the whole card. I love how the card turned out, I didn't take a photo but if I get a photo I will show it for my next blog post.

Back to the music box, I sanded the two parts down because I plan on spray painting. I wanted to use the spray paint as a basecoat which will allow me to paint over it with paint at home. I used brown because it can act as "wood" and then with the tubes, I want to use a bright selection of colors. I want the Jukebox to have a nature and spring feeling to it. I will also include a photo of it on my next blog post. Also if you were wondering about from my last blog post of what walls I would have made for support. There is another one on the other side. It provides a stand for the ceiling of the arc to lay on.
