During this week, I decided to think of new projects. I'm not so set on continuing the Word Clock just yet. After the card, I was still in an arts and Crafts mood and with the Laser-cutter, I enjoy having my ideas be planned out perfectly and also being executed very well. Working with Fusion360 and also Inkscape helps me grasp a more deeper understanding of the two programs. I thought of new projects to do and since my favorite music artist just produced a new song, Bleed by Malcolm Todd, I wanted to create my own poster to replicate the cover of the song. My room feels empty without things hanging on my wall so I believe this will be a great addition.

I wanted to base off this post and the picture behind them without the punching image.

My first steps was to find a good size for the poster. The paper that I used is 9inx12in so then I just set up parameters only .5 in smaller for t

he size of my poster. After making the poster in CAD I started to add in the most special part of it, the replicating vinyl. Bleed was released on vinyl also and the color of blue reminded me of the blue acrylic that we had in the shop. I started to cut out water I had into acrylic as a way to test how everything will look because I liked how it would turn out but I should have cut it in cardboard first.

Before I cut the letters into the vinyl I actually had plans to cut in paper the letters then tape or glue onto the acrylic but I realized that would be too tedious and time consuming. I was then suggested to cut the letters out into the acrylic and then cut the words in a different material to insert them into as a way to change up the constant color of blue. After I made that change into Fusion I decided to color each part to correspond to the color of acrylic I will cut each in.
