This week was primarily working on the giant word clock again. Jaspreet, Bella, and I finished the final layer of wood finisher and allowed it to dry. After it dried it looked very clean and polished. We brought it back to our working area with all of the letter blocks. The three of us started to distribute the work amongst us when it came to inserting the letter blocks onto the board. I mainly helped at the back of the board with the nuts. It was very efficient as there was 121 blocks and only three of us. I prepared and passed Bella and Jaspreet the blocks.
We managed to finish inserting all of the blocks by Wednesday. When we did finish, we made a plan to take off the back plate that blocked the middle rows from getting tightened by the nut driver. We decided to test the power supply before we took off the back plate. Jaspreet had a great idea to use a drill with the attached driver to speed up the process instead of it doing it by hand. This saved us a lot of time because Jaspreet needed to drill the back plate back into the board. The ESP32 Webserver is working and people have added suggestions of what colors I should add to it. So I'll plan to code in some new color combos for the people.
I'm very glad that the clock worked in the end and the lights look amazing. We might connect more power into the board because the lights do flicker when more lights are being used. This would require another line of power to connect to the PCB which we do have on the board but not a line. I also wanted to change the delay because the display doesn't change unless if the minutes are an even value.
