For the entire week I've been focusing on cutting, sanding, gluing and painting by headphone stand. The cactus turned out great and looks better once I flipped over the layer so then it can a 3D affect. The bendable pot had some issues with staying together but I fixed it with Mr. L's suggestion of creating a small square with two screws that can go inside of it and so the pot can be connected with two screws.

However, I ran into another issue with the structure of the pot. The top piece does not hold still and falls down because of the lack of support it has. I decided to create little platforms that will be glues on the walls in the inside. These platforms will allow the top to rest on it without falling.

After the small platforms are made and attached them inside of the walls. I plan to glue the cactus to it's base so then I can bring it home and finish painting.
